The project comprises the widening of Sheikh Zayed Road from existing 4 lanes in each direction to proposed 5 lanes in each direction over a total length of 8 kms starting from Trade Centre Interchange upto the limit of Interchange 3. The project also included construction of a precast segmental underpass and diversion works associated with all assets belonging to various statutory authorities.
